There was a very large gathering of interested onlookers at tho cookery demonstration given by Miss Un,i Cavtw in the Wellington Gas Company's lecture Hall, Conrtenay Place, yesterday afternoon. Miss Carter showed her audience how to make savoury tart, scrambled fish in tomatoes, stewed pork sausages and apples, pickled red cabbage, and mustard pickles. ' SULTKY WEATHER.
