ENEMY PERSISTENTLY ATTACKING TO SAVE SUPPLY SYSTEM

ITALIANS- MAINTAINING THEIR RESISTANCE PROTEST AGAINST BOLSHEVIK PEACE PLOT

The Germaus on tho Canibrai front, fearful of the disastrous consequences of the disorganisation by the British of the distributing supply centre at Cambrai, have again attacked the new British positions in Bourlon Wood, with as little success as before. A most interesting story of the cavalry fights which followed the breaking of the Hindenburg line is told by Mr. Philip Gibbs, in a long dispatch. On the Meuse, the French have rounded off their recent victory by capturing another strong point. Tho outlook on the Italian front still remains promising, and, largely due to the stimulus of the British victory ou the Cambrai front, the morale of the Italians has practically been restored.
