ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
"Inquirer."—A man whose father was an mumturalised Swede and whose mother was an Englishwoman would be liable to military sorvice if he had been born in a British State, since hie nationality would be determined by Ms place, of birth. If the man was of enemj- parentage, but had been born in a British State, he would still be legally liable for service, though as a mattor of practice he probahly would not be required to join the Forces. The Swedish nationality of the father would not be a bar.
