A good deal of misapprehension exist* reading the. Grey .eat »* %s£• posed resignation of Mr. P. C. Webb. A letter, which has been published, was lent by Mr. Webb to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, in which MrWebb declared hi? wish to resign one week after the rising o parliament for the session. It is generally supposed that this is equivalent to a resignation, but t 3 is Mt 80.
