SOLDIERS' SPORTS AT TRENTHAM

A. successful sporU meeting wns held on the racecourse at Trenthtim by the members of B Company, Thirty-first Jieinforccments, on Saturday. Tho weather was line, but the track was very heavy. Following aio the results of the various events: —

The former event was won by No. 5 Platoon, and tho latter by the men.

The field events were in tho ablo hands of Mr. J. W. M'Holm, the champion hammer-thrower, who kindly lent his aid in that branch of the sports.

Captain A. E. Brown, 0.C., B 31, vas judge over the running events, and S.S.Jr. J. Eyan was jxidgo over drill events.
