The annual meeting of the New Zealand Sheepowhers' and Farmers'■ Federation was held in Wellington on "Wednesday. Present: Messrs. H. D. Acland (president) and L.. C. Gardiner (Canterbury), R. Acton-Adanjf, and James Begg (Otago and Southland), H. D. Vavasour (Marlborough), Sir James C(. Wilson and Hugh Morrison (JVellington), H. M. Campbell (Haivke's Bay), W. G. Sherratt (Poverty Bay). Mr. E. C. Jack, Dominion secretary of the Farmers' Union, and Mr. F. H. Labatt. secretary of the New Zealand Sheepowners' Federation, also attended. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Sir. H. I). Acland (reflected); vice-president Mr. A. D. JlTjeod; hon. treasurer, "Mr. Jolin Deans (re-elected); and a. council of eighteen, representing the affiliated Sheepowners' TJnion. Mi;.
