Marton Heeling were galloped at Trentham on Saturday. The going was on the heavy side, and fast times wore out of the question. Amongst those to acqn'lt themselves satisfactorily were Chakivana, Mencl&us, The Golfer, Oooing, and Mystic Light. Bluegowu and Bonny Maid also movedi pleasiingly over short courseß. There are seven well-grown yearlings running in a paddock at Bushby Park which are being prepared! for the Randwick (New South Wales) sales nert March. Five of these youngsters are by Hallowmas, including a brown filly out of Signora, a chestnut iilly out of Gundra. a brown filly out of Simonia, a bay filly out of Largesse, and a brown colt out of Armistice. These live are owned by Mr. G. F. Moore. Tho two others belong to different owners, and include a black colt by Autuiunus—Ukraine, the dam of Sasanof, and a bay filly by Nassau—Formless, a .half-sister to Bon Keve. The .Ukraine colt is owned by her breeder, Mr. T. M. Wilford, and tho Formless filly belongs to Mr. (i. L. Stead.

The Qisborno trainer, D. Moravian. is still located at Riccarton with flytliread and Rewanga, who arc being kept in easy work. They will probably tako their departure for Gisborno early next week.
