.—*_ The, organ recital to be given to-night in the Town Hall by tiie City Organist' ■(Mr. Bernard J?. Page) promises tho public a special treat in view of the performance of Cesar I'ranck's majestic and beautiful Symphony in D Minor. This number is niado up of tho Lento-AUegro, Allegretto, and Allegro non Troppo pieces, tho whblo making one of the greatest symphonies ever written, unique not only in tho worth and loftiness of its' ideas but in. the perfection of its structure. Tho other works to be performed are tho Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (Bach), Musette (Dandrcau), Pavene (Byrd, 1512-11)23), and I'reecobaldi's Capriccio lVstoralo. '•
