EXPENDITURE Oii , .£1,500,000. Melbourne, June 7. The Minister of Home Territories (Air. Glynii) returned to Melbourne yesterday afler a visit to the Federal Capital. Re stated that he had inspected various works in progress there, and had visited the proposed site of tlie arsenal. He indicated that altogether ,£1,500,000 had already been spent'on the Federal Capital, of which a little under .£1,0110,000 was accounted for-by works and administration, the remainder going in the purchase, of land..
