MOVE FOR 'A SEPARATE DIRECTOR. (Rcc. March 13, 8.10 p.m.) London, March 12. In tho Houbo of Commons, Mr. .T. Farrcl's (Nationalist) amendment to exclude Ireland from the National Serrico Bill was defeated by Idß votes to 7fi Mr. 11. Hazloton (Nationalist) moved that there he a separate Director-Gen-eral of National Service for Ireland. Mr. Duke (Chief Secretary for Ireland) said thab Mr. Neville Chamborlain (Director of National Service) had agreed to delegate' this work to a representative who would be entitled to the technical status of representative Director of National Service in Ire-land.—Aus-.N.Z.
