THE WORLD. •On Saturday next that very enjoyable fixture in the bowling • calendar, the ■Wellington Club versus the World fe represented by all the other city and subiirban clubs), will-bo played on the Wellington Club's pleasant green. One would imagine that, when each of the other clubs jmt in a fairly strong rink Wellington would not have mirth chance incppoaing them, but the record in this torture is a wonderful one, for never yet has the Wellington Club been defeated in tlus fcxture.
