Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their fortnightly sale at the Upper llutt on December 14, when they offered a small yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle, to a large attendance of buyers. Pat sheep and cattlo sold readily, fto store sheep wero yarded, and although store cattle were dragging at the commencement of tho sale they improved considerably, and prioes wero ultimately quite on a par with late rates.
