Clara Alice Ross, alias Helm, and James Arthur Ross, were sentenced to three months' imprisonment for keeping a house of ill-fame in Martin Street. James Arthur Ross was fined £10, in default one month's imprisonment, for selling liquor without a license. James Gibbonß was sentenced to one month's imprisonment for living in Ross's house of ill-fame. The three were remanded till December 20 on. a charge of robbing (with violence) «ne Ballone Giovani, an Italian fisherman.
