THE "KIDNAPPED" ARMY CORPS TO BE USED TO ATTACK THE ALLIES London, December 12. 'A' message from Eome states that King Constantino has ordered a general mobilisation. " , The "Daily Telegraph's" correspondent a,fc Piraeue states: "King Constantino and the military are trying to gain time.' The rest of the population are alarmed! at tie prospect pf war with the Entente. AIL AfEea subjects have'left Athens, and are living on board requisitioned boats on the Piraeus and at Katerina, only the Muusters remaining at Athens. Sis thousand Venizelists have taken refuge in the Piraeus, as tbo arrests continue. The Government states that it 16 willing to make reparation and to dismiss certain army officers, but it is opposed to the re-establishment of Allied control or to disarmament. The Government has hurriedly transported' to.Athens the wheat stored at the Piraeus."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn, THAT KIDNAPPED ARMY CORPS ANOTHER INSTANCE OF GREEK TREACHERY. (Rec. December 13, 5.20 p.m.) ' ' _ London, December 12. A wireless message from Berne states that information from an official German source shows that the commander of tho Greek Army Corps which was nominally interned at Goerlitz has received from King Constantine orders to hold himself in readiness to co-operate with tho Germans and the Bulgars against General Sarrail. Preparations have been in progress during the past week for the transport of the corps towards' Macedonia. It is believed that they are now en route. These troops were never treated as interned troops, but received systematic training from German instructors. The indications aro that from the outset King Constantino and the Kaiser had arranged to use them against the Allies at tho first opportune moment.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. "ANARCHY STILL PREVAILS," (Rec. December 13, 10.20 p.m.) London, December 13. "Tho Times'" special correspondent, in an unconsored dispatch from' Greece, states that anarchy still prevails, and the inquisition against the Venizelists continues. ,M. Gounans and his judicial functionaries are conducting daily house-to-house searches, ajid imprisoning increasing numbers of Venizelists, who are reported to be shot in the prisons at night. A reign of terror exists, surpassing the worst record of Abdul Hamid (of Turkey).. The Allies are, still unable to protect their Greek friends. "The Germanophile Press," ho says, "published a forged political letter in M. Venizelos's namo as a proof of an alleged! antd-Royalist plot, in order to bolster up their abominable Royalist outrages and attacks on the Allied troops. Tho Government is complacently permitting their Press organs to launch every conceivable accusation against Vonizelos, and his supporters, knowing that the Venizelist journalists'have been unable to reply. All the property of the imprisoned people is destroyed. No Venizelist paper has been published since Decembor 1, The Government organs are taking advantage of tho Allies' non-reprisals for the recent outrages, and now assert that Greece has no desire to fight the Allies so long as the Allies, having learnt their lesson, will abstain henceforward from interfering- with Greece's internal affairs."—"TfroTTmes." AUSTRALIAN GREEKS SUPPORT M. VENIZELOS. (Rec. December 13,' 10.50 p.m.) Sydney, December 13. The Greek community here has cabled M.
