An important visitoi —in Solvation Army circles— a|. present in Wellington, is Colonel John Dean, National Spiritual Special for U.S.A.. English born, the colonel is colonial raised, and besides .years of service in Australia, has held important positions hi Groat Britain and the U.S.A.. principally in training work, lie lias conducted a very .successful •■■cries of meetings in the Dominion, and is concluding his tour this week-end in Wellington. JtYom New Zealand lie completes n tour in Australia, afterwards proceeding to India on a similar mission.
