SUMMARY AND FORECAST AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for westerly and south-westerly winds, moderate to strong generally, bnt squally at times in and southward of Cool: Strait. Pair weather is probable in the northern and East. Coast districts, and changeable conditions elsewhere, with scattered showers. Baromoter unsteady in the south, hut ie due to Tise further everywhere soop. An atmospheric depression passed rapidly in the south last night and accounted for rain in various parts or the Domfiiion. The weather has improved to-day except ill tho southernmost districts, where tho barometer is still considerably below normal. Moderate to strong north-west to soutli-wcet winds have ruled. B. V.
