London, November 11. In the House of Commons Mr. J. C. TVedgewood said that no one had anything but words of the highest praise for General Birdwood, Commander of tho Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, and hoped that no inferiority of rank would bo allowed to bar his more brilliant promotion.
