MILITARY HOSPITALS
The daily bulletin of patients in tlio various military hospitals as at noon yesterday reads as under:— Trentham—Admissions 11, discharges 11, total remaining 70, two serious cases. Upper Hutt—Admissions 1, total remaining 23, no serious cases.. Ivaiwarra—Discharges 6, total remaining 29. all convalescent. Tauherenikau—Admissions 1, discharges 10, total remaining 28, condition, of all patients satisfactory. ' Greytown—Total remaining 14, condition of all patients satisfactory. Palmerston North—Discharges 1, total remaining 18. Auckland—Total remaining 1. Dunedin—Total remaining 12. Wellington—Admissions 1, discharges' 1. total remaining 2S. Wanganui—Total remaining 3. Total, in all hospitals, 226.
The Wellington Pipe Band and • the sth (Wellington) Regiment Band are to be informed, in reply to applications from these bodies, that tho Wellington City Council cannot increase the number'of bands at present subsidised for municipal performances.
