The most wonderful conveyor belt in Australasia is that supplied by' tlie I)unlop Rubber Company to theUroken Hill i'roproitary Company that is being used for the conveyance of iron oro from the crushers at Hnmmiek Hill (South Australia) to the vessels which convey it to Newoastlo, where it is smelted into pig iron. The total length of this conveyor belt is -1875 feet, made in seven sections. It is 30 inches in width, .thrcc-fiuartciis of an inch in thickness, and weighs 30s tons.
