In England workers' cottages are ijig provided with electric stoves forthl sum of £4, inclusive_ of wiring* accessor* ies and fixing. In his report, Mr. 0. S. Davidson, electrical engineer to the Barnes Council, stated that he was sntis» fied the stoves would be good for ten years. The same stoves could he rented out for 10s. 4d. per annum. ,
