At a later stage of the debate the Premier (Mr. Scaddan) drew the attention of the House to a note which had ■been sent from the Press Gallery to Mr. Johnson by the '."'West Australian's" leader-writer. The note read "AV. D: Johnson.—You are a doubly miserable cur and a liar.—(Signed) J. C. Morrison." v.'.; On the motion of Alio Premier, seconded by the Leader of the Opposition, the House resolved that Mr. Jlorrison was guilty of 'contempt, and that he should bo excluded from the Press Ga'lery until he withdrew his remarks and apologised.
