THE Gas Company begs to notify conl . sumers and the General Public that no person is permitted to read or water meters, collcct accounts, canvass : for orders, execute work, or in any. way represent the Company who does not possess the Company's, written authoi-ity to .do so. The .production of this authority may. be demanded-from any jjerson purporting to act for or on behalf of the Company.. ■ . . ■Persons falsely representing themselves as employees of the Company will be prosecuted. The Company earnestly desires the cooperation of Gas Coiiiuiners and others in rcspect to the above in order to prevent fraud and misrepresentation by persons not in the employ of the Company.
