SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for variable winds, . with moderate to etrcmg easterlies prevailing and changing to freshening northerlies. Expect fair, to cloudy weather generally, but misty at times on the East Coast, and in the southern' districts. Increasing haze and clqudi- - ncsß is pTobable for an unfavourable change in the early part of the week. The barometer is due to fall everywhore shortly. - Oloudy and showery conditions have prevailed along the East Coa6t between East Capo, and Kaikoura, and cold but fair weather lias ruled elsewhere.
