MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. illr. A. E. Wells presided at the weekly mooting •of tho Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association last evening. Members of the committee who were appointed to act as delegates to the sports bodies' meeting, which was held on Monday, evening, to discuss the proposed alterations to t'ho Basin Roserve, reported that they had formed a com•mi.tteo to watoh tho sports' bodies' interests in connection therewith. •Mr. T. On the recommendation of tho Boys' Sub-c'ommitteo it was decided; (I)' That in view of the lateness of the 'season tho four leading teams in .the Sixth Division should play off for tho championship. Tho Town Clerk notified that permission had beon granted to the Association to use the Basin Reserve on Sep l tember IS. Mr. A. Williams, secretary, reported that Brooklyn had won the Second Division Championship with 14 points, Diamonds were second with 13 points, St. David's third with 12 points, and Toa fourth with 10 points.
