Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly "winds, ©hanging to northerly northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and freshening northerlies elsewhere. Increasing haze and. cloudiness probable generally, with rain following in the West Coast and soufliernmost district's of the South Island. Conditions arc also somewhat threatening in the northern portion of the North Island. The barometer has a, falling . tendency. .
