THE WEATHER
SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for 6trong and squally westerly winds, especially to and southward of Cook Strait. Dull and misty weather is likely to prevail, with rain generally, and onow on higher levels in the south. Barometer Unsteady, but fall again shortly. Although barometric pressure has increased sinoe Saturday, it is still considerably below normal over the Dominion. Oold, gloomy, and misty conditions have ruled, and rain fell generally on Saturday and Sunday. Strong westerly and southerly winds have, predominated, but have decreased in force since yesterday. D.
