"A PHENOMENAL ROUND." (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Cambridge, June 26. Playing in the Dominion Medal Golf Handicap to-day, C. W. M'Bride had a phenomenal round, his gross score being 82, less handicap 20, making his score 62, -which is 14 under bogey for the course. MIRAMAR CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Medal Handicap arranged by the New Zealand Golf Association, for prizes given by E. S. Douglas and Jns. Watt (professionals), to assist . th© Fund for Wounded Soldiers; was played on all links in New Zealand. At Miramar the competition was quite spoilt by stormy weather conditions, and out of fifty competitors who entered very few completed the round. The best card returned was W. A. Hawkins, 80 net. This week's competition for tihe club's Belgian Reliof Fund (for Mr. H. S. Hayman's prizo) was won by V. G.- Rliind (8), 3 up on bogey. The next best cards were H. R. Balneavis (2), 2 up; K. B. Duncan (3), 1 up; C. H. Lawrence (11), all square. There wero forty competitors. Try this experiment. There are various Challenger Golf Balls, the light, the medium, and the heavy.
