THE DAY'S BAY TOURNAMENT

SECOND DAY'S PLAY

The Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association's championship and handicap tournament was continued at Day's Bay yesterday in splendid weather and before a large crowd of spectators. Al! the circumstances considered, the courts were in capital condition and played .well. Two of the championship events—Ladies' Doubles and Men's Doubles—were completed, the former resulting in an easy win for Mrs. Goldie and Miss Travers, while the men's event was easily ■ annexed by R.
