Since her return from tthe Maaterton meeting Immer has done good work, and last week she galloped well on two occasions. Sho is to be a runner in the Easter Handicap at Tauherinikau, nnd will be ridden by T. Pritchard. S. Keid will ride Undecided and Boon in their Wairarapa engagements on Saturday next. He will then proceed to Fe.ilding, where ho is ito have the mount on Rewi Poto in the Cup. It is reported that E. Reed is to ride Mr. T. H. Lowry's Elect in the Easter Handicap at Ellerslie. After all Kilrain is to be a runner In the C.J.C. Great Autumn Handicap. The Kilcheran horso' galloped ten furlongs at Trcnthajn on Saturday, and acquitted himself so well that his owner decided to send him south. W. Bell will ride him at Riccarton. Maltegarde (Charlemagne ll—Annabelle), who figures in the N.Z. St. Legor to be run at Trentham, is engaged hack events at the C.J..C. Easter Meeting. The filly is a member of E. J. Mason's team, • The nominations received for the Wellington Racing Club's Autumn Meeting are most satisfactory. The big races have filled equally as well as last year, and the hack and the two-year-old races have filled better. The Thompson Handicap contains the names of all ithe leading handicap horses in the Dominion, and twelve owners have thrown down the gauntlet to Warstep in the Trentham Gold Clip. Included in the lift is Merry ■Roe, last year's winner, and Balboa, who will start in itlio N.Z. St. Leger on the opening day. Other .prominent performers in Pavlova, Nightwatch, Indigo, and Specialform aro also engaged. It is not often that the progency of one mare fight out tho finish of a race, but this happened in (the Eoslyn flack Handicap at Invercargill on "Wednesday. The winner, Eodowa, by All Red, and the second horse, Brooksdale. by Pallas, both claim as their dam the Apreraout mare Bealey.
