[TRIAL GAMES FOR SHIELD SELECTIONS. Another men's trial hocßey game was played at Karori on Saturday betiveou H and B representatives. LADIES' GAMES. Only two ladies' games were played at Karori on Saturday. These were between Rambler A and Syrens, and Girls' College and University. Almost from the butk-off the visitors showed superiority, ana a com-, bined forward rush ended in Miss Eames finding the net, -The English forward Jine again swept down, Miss Leacroft scoring. From .the bull3'-off the forward line was again irresistible, Miss Gaskell scoring. Another forward rush ended by Miss Eames shooting' a goal; ' On resuming, tho visitors agaui assumed the aggressive, and Miss Leacroft found tho net.
