U3y Green.] SOME CENERAL NOTES. Karori Club. ' A team of six men from the Karori Golf Club will visit Waiwetu to-day to try conclusions with the Waiwetu representatives. Six ladies also go out on a similar mission. The medal match, played last Saturday, resulted in a win for D. A. M'Lennan, with F. Barclay second. The mixed foursomes was won by Booth and ,Miss-Webb; the next best cards were handed in by M'Lennan and Mrs. Hawsoh, and Caldwell and Miss E. Henry.; Results of matches played by the 'ladies during the last few weeks are as ;follow: —Mrs. Hamilton's-trophy: Won by Miss Webb. Mrs. Henry's silver.buttons: First competition. Miss Shearer j socond, Mrs. Hawson; third, Mrs. Vickerman and Miss Hawson (tie); fourth, Mrs. Olabburn; fifth, Mrs. Clabbum; sixth, Mies Shearer. Mrs. Trask's brassey: Mrs. Atkinson. Jottings. The combined Wairarapa Golf Clubs are sending a team of about 18 players .to Wellington next , week to play a match against th 6 Wellington Golf Club's representatives at Heretaunga. The construction of numerous new bunkers militated against lower scoring.
