BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING.. ' Tho Miramar Borough Council met last night, the Mayor (Mr. Fi Townsend) presiding. There were also present Councillors Stone,- Smith, Tracy, Hawthorne, and Dr. Edith Huntly. Prior to tho ordinary meeting, a special meeting was held, and at this meeting - tho council adopted a resolution by. way of special order ".that tho surpluses of stindry -loans bo expended on deferred payment drainage work, on water supply connections, and on electrio undertaking." Permission was granted for. the. Wei-,! lingtoji Motor Cycling Club ."to 'Hold'.a'; speed' trial on .Maitai Road on Saturday next..' '
