Burley, umpire in one oi tho senior mid-week matches on- Wednesday, writes contradicting the statement made by our contributor that the decision, which gave Crouch (Rivals) gilt leg-beforc-.wlckot was erroneous. Ho st-ates that his decisi-o.fi was co.ttect, as tho ball was pitched between, wicket and wicket, and woii/d have hit the wicket.
