Details of the fight between part of an Arab battalion, under Major Conry, and thirty outlaws, at Wudy Hadi, early last mouth, when Major Conry and threo of his battalion were killed, sliowithat Conry surrounded tlio outlaws. Desiring jto avoid bloodshed, he domanded their surrender, and they agreed. When parleying was going on, however, they attacked Major Conry and speared him to death. The 'troops then opening fire killed or wounded twenty of tho outlaws.
