POLITICAL REFORM LEAGUE.
Tk-o Women's Political Reform League of Wellington held its monthly roftutsng in the 'fhedsopithttl Society's rooms last night, Mrs. Ernest Hadfiekl presiding. A good deal of general business' was discussed, and M new members were elected. An interesting address oil the po'itieal situation was delivered by Dr. A. K. Nbwhi&d, M.P., and at tho conclusion of bis address ho invited | members to ask questions or to put forward their own. views oil the subjects on which lie had spoken. About three- | : quarters of an hour was spout 111 tho informal discussion, .which followed. A. vote of thanks to Dr. Newman for Iris , address, 'and of continued confidence w tko Government, was carried with c-ii- | thusiiism.
