The prospects of the Talisman mine at, Karacgahake form an interesting topic of dtaousyon amongst those interested in m'ning at-the nresent time. Mr. L. W. A. Macarthiir, F.G.S., a mining engineer, who has recently visited the' Karangahake field, states that- hs has no hesitation in saying that the Talisman mino will'have profitable resources to exploit, for many yea-re.
