Shorratt, R. Sher-; rat-t, P. Sherratt, and J. Murphy. Christchurch—Captain Onslow, Tahu Rhodes, C. Teschemaker, and H. Little. Right from the commencement the visitors showed themselves much, better players, whilo their, ponies were also well above the average. During the first spell, T. Sherratt sctr°d a couple of goals, and J. Murphy aLj succeeded in putting the ball between the posts, tho spell ending in" favour of Poverty Bay by 3 goals 'to nil.
