Weicfing in St. Peter's, Tho marriage tflok place quietly in St. Peter's Church yesterday afternoon of Miss Hilda Ruth Craw-ford, only daughter of Mrs. W. Gordon Rcfc}, of Wellington, to Mr. David Aitkeit Hamilton, of Melbourne. Tho Von. Archdeacon Harper conducted tho service and Dr. Fyffo played the organ. Tho bride, who was given, away by her stepfather, wore a gown' of figured crc)2e do chine draped with plain crepe de ehiiio and beautiful old 1,-,i(».erick lace. Her plain tulle veil was fastened with a coronet of orange blossoms and she also wore a diamond pendant aud earrings, the gifts of the bridegroom. Tho bridesmaids were Miss Doris Hernuifi and Miss Ray Moeller, who both wore pretty frocks of shell pink crepe de chine trimmed w : ith skunk fur, and bjack panne hats with an outstanding pink ostrich feather fastened at the side and slightly drooping over the brim at tho back. TTie oride's boi> quot was of cream carnations and roses, and the bridesmaids' were of pink carnations and violets. The best man wag Mr. Peter M'Lean and the groomsman Mr. G. Crawford. To the bridegroom was given a gold watch, and his gifts to the bridesmaids were silver ehaiu bags. Mrs. AV. G-. Reid, the bride's mother, wore a gown of black elmrmeuse, tho bodice and tunic being of white shadow lace veiled, with black ninon and outlined with skunk fur t a distinctive note being given by touches of tangerine at tho waist. With it was worn a small black hat with an upstanding tangerine mount, and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses. A reception was afterwords held at 129 Vivian Street, tho floral decorations of tho rooms being particularly charming. Tho bride's travelling dtcss was of brown crepe de chine, the; figured tunic boipg edged with fnr, and a white panne hat trimmed with an Ostrich mount. Her fur travelling coat was a gift from her mother. Mr. and Mrs. David. Hamilton are leaving for Australia for their wedding journey.

The Sailors' Friend Society. At the Kelburue Kiosk last evening, in honour of the approaching marriage with Mr. M. H. Young, of Cliina, Miss M.
