Thomas, M.P., Organising Secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, has announced that forty thousand men have notified the railway companies that they will cease work in November unless their conditions are bettered. If this were followed by opposition the policy would bo to adviso those men to provide themselves with arms and ammunition.
