BTJKNSIDE MARKETS. (Br Telegra-Ph—Press Association.) Dunedln, December 23. At Burnside to-day, 150 fat eattic v< cro yarded, and though tho yarding was small the , demand was slack. Pat sheep: 1155 penned. The supply was short. and although there is never mucli mutton, wanted during Christmas week, tho demand then being mainly for lamb, there was a better demand than was expected. Prices were about Is. lower than thoeo ruluig last week. Prime shorn wethers, 235. to 25g.; extra, to 265. Prime, 17s. 6d. to 195.; extra; to 21s. 9d,; medium,'lte. 6d. to 165.; light-and unfinished, lie. to 13s. Pi»s: 45 fat pigfl and 88 stores were yarded. "Tho entry of fat pigs was small, bidding was indifferent, and prices showed a fall eb compared with last week's rates.
