The jumping and_ riding competitions, which aro tho chief feature of tho programme, have attracted very largo entries, and visitors to tho carnival should witness a capital display of jumping. Among tlio horses engaged are such well-known performers as dwell, Gondolier, Grit Lawless, Corn Cobb, Scami), Silver Monarch, -Sir Mauser, Mischief, and Papa.
