TAXI-DRIVER KILLED.
TYKE BURSTS AND UPSETS CAR. (By Tclegrapli.—Press Association.) Palmarston North, December 22. A serious motor-car accident happened on tlio Rangitikei Lino at 4.30 this afternoon, resulting in tho death o! David Musgrove, taxi-driver, and a well-known atlilote. Ho was driving four passengers towards Palmerston ivhen the tyro, burst, and tlio car turned over, killing Musgrove instantly. John Banquist, another occupant, was seriously injured, and was removed to a private hospital. Andrew M'Cluchio sustained a broken arm, wliilo the other two occupants escaped injury.
