At tlio mooting of tko Executive Council of the Highland Society, held. 011 Monday evening at the Rose Tea ■ Rooms, the following office-bearers wero appointed:—Chief, Sir. T, G. \\. The promoters of the society state that they feel tlio Highlanders of Wellington nro numerous, and they are desirous to take their place in tho van of those societies whom pride of race and 11ational sentiment bind together.
