HIS JOCKEY'S IMPRESSIONS. (R-eo. October 12, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, October 11. M'Lachlan, Duko Footo's rider, in an interview, was asked i£ tho "Duke" was tho best horse lie had over ridden. Ho replied: "I hardly know, because I used to rido Prince Foote, and ho was a great horse too. But I am inclined to think that tho 'Duke' is a trifle tlio stronger of tho two." Asked if lie was "all out" on Saturday, M'Lachlan replied: "On the contrary, wo just loafed behind the leaders, and at the right timo camo away and won with tho greatest ease.
