MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Saturday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court, before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S;M., wasj as Usual, brief. Two wonlcri who were found helplessly drunk on Friday night were remanded for a week's medical treatment. Insobriety brought William Edward Townsend a fine of £1. Timothy John Watson, charged with having, at Hoburt, forged an order for £40 2s. 9d., was remanded till October 16.
