Messrs. Dalgety antl 00., Ltd.. report bavin* held their usual stock sale at Dnnnevirkc. when they offered a fair yarding of sheep to a large attendance of the public. Thoy quote as follows:—Well-grown shorn mixed sex lambs. Us. 7d.; woolly mixed sex lambs, lis. lOd.: medium mixed sex shorn lambs, te. to 9.?. 6d.;, cull lambs, fe. to 6?.; mixed aged ewes in lamb. lis. 9d.; fat. cows, £5 to £6 17s. fid. Messrs. Williams a.nd Kettle, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale in the Dannevlrke yards on Thursday, when thev offered a fair entry of dbeep and cattlo t.o the usual attendance of thoso interested. There was good competition for all classes of sheep, especially lambs, which brought prices wdll in advance of late sales.
