REALLY GOOD COUGH SYRUP.

HOW TO MAKE'IT AT HOME. (BY A QUALIFIED CHEMIST.) There aro now some thousands of people in New Zealand making their own good family cough and cold remedy fTom tlio following ptfjscription. It saves a lot of money, and does such a lot of good, that its quick yopularity is easily accounted for. This is a typical letter:. "Please send me two more bottles_ of Sean's Essence for making cough mixtune. I am very well satisfied with the last bottle. This will make ono pint of cough remedy suitable for all members of the family. It is nice to take, is wanning, soothing, comforting, lasts a long time, and never spoils. It gives von twelve shillings' worth for Is. Gd. A few drop 9 may be given to a child and a spoonful to an adult. Each dose should bp sipped slowly to allow tho mixture to lubricate the throat as much as possible.
