It' was known that ho was engaged to n, Morayshire girl, and steps were taken to Inform her of his condition. Tho young man, although so weak that he could scarcely raise his head from the pillow, was anxious to bo ablo to call his sweetheart his wife before he died. The girl's wishos agreeing with- her lover's, the marriage ceremony took place at tho young nan's bedside on January 81. Within a week tho husband died and the brido of five days had become a widow.
