Mr. Elwood Mead, C.8., Chairman, of the Victorian State Rivers and Water Supply Commission, hos arrived here, in company with Sir George Reid, High Commissioner in London for Australia. He spoke at a luncheon regarding relations between Australia and the United States, declaring that the assistance of Americans was only required to make Australia the United States of the Southern Hemisphere. Mr. Mead is en' route to Salt Lake City, to attend the Irrigation Congress.
