EXPORTS OF DAIRY PRODUCE.
CHEESE AND, BUTTER SHIPMENTS,
Steamers, leaving for England during tho past week or so have been carrying comparatively little butter, but cheese shipments -arc still fairly heavy. The Susses, which sailed on April 2G, took only 242 boxes of butter, 197 boxes being from Auckland and 45 from Wellington. The cheese shipments by tho vessel were in the region of7ooo. the totals being as under :-Auckland, 298;' Bluff, 3,410; Wellington, 3101; Timaru, 50; Lyttelton, 299. The which sailed for London on Thursday, carried 1250 boxes of butter and 11,489 crates of cheese. The butter shipments were: From Wellington, 307 boxes; Auckland, 724; New Plymouth, 159; anil the cheese was shipped from tho following ports:—Wellington, 2987; Palea, "SS' 1, Bluff 2109; Now 1 Plymouth, 19o0; buiicdin, 7SS; Auckland, 361; Lyttelton, 225; Timaru, 211.
